MetaShare will however not automatically get a notification of a workspace&#8217;s changed URL so if you change the URL, the workspace will not be found. If you want to change the URL of a workspace&#8217;s corresponding site, there are two ways to do it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method 1 &#8211; Create a new site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The easiest way to change the URL of a workspace&#8217;s corresponding site, without having to contact&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/metashare.com\/en\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MetaShare support<\/a>&nbsp;is to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/help.metashare.com\/en\/usermanual\/how-to-create-a-workspace\/\">Create a new workspace<\/a>, with the desired URL.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/help.metashare.com\/en\/usermanual\/how-to-move-documents\/\">Move the documents<\/a> from the old workspace to the new one.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/help.metashare.com\/en\/adminmanual\/how-to-delete-a-metashare-workspace\/\">Delete the old workspace<\/a>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method 2 &#8211; Change the site&#8217;s URL<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can change the URL of a workspace&#8217;s corresponding site but then you will have to contact\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metashare.com\/en\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MetaShare support<\/a>\u00a0that will link the new URL to the MetaShare workspace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From SharePoint&#8217;s admin center it is possible to change the URL of a SharePoint site.
